ABOUT ME

Born and raised in Florida, honed in Boston, now building in Los Angeles. What's followed me through all three is the same thing: a love for storytelling and for the chance to turn an idea into something people can actually feel. That's the whole reason I'm in this industry. I'm drawn to the moment an idea stops being a concept and starts becoming something real: finding it, shaping it, and pushing it across the finish line.

I spent fourteen years as an actor, finding what makes a story connect from the inside out, long before I ever learned how one gets built. Then I started building. I founded and run Crown Studios, an independent production company that's produced 20+ projects across film, television, music video, theatre, and live events. I've worked in development, covering scripts and helping shape what gets made, served as an assistant to a film producer, and worked on two feature films. The way I work comes down to a few things: attention to detail and a steady hand when the pressure's on. Most of what I know I learned by doing it, getting it wrong, and figuring out how to do it better the next time.

I'm not a Marine, but I live by their motto

improvise, adapt, overcome

But I can't really tell my story without explaining my upbringing. Most of who I am comes from my mother. I owe her more than I could ever really put into a paragraph. She gave me something like an Ivy League education in culture. Former Grateful Dead groupie, single mother, and film critic all in one. Her syllabus was watching Anthony Bourdain and reading Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, studying Hemingway and Brecht, and talking about why the answer to life is 42. She was the catalyst that made me obsessed with learning it all: history, anthropology, philosophy, and psychology, art and music. That's probably where my creative taste comes from: the weird details that reveal who someone really is. I'm interested in why people do what they do, what they hide, what they perform, what they believe, and what happens when a story makes all of that impossible to ignore.
